The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan Opened in Kharkiv

On February 15, 2020, a solemn opening ceremony of the Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in the city of Kharkiv.

On February 15, 2020, in Kharkiv, at 7 Poltavskyi Shlyakh Street, the official opening ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The event was attended by Samat Ordabayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine, representatives of regional and city authorities, the diplomatic corps, and the Kazakh community of the region.

The consular district of the newly established office includes Kharkiv, Poltava, and Sumy regions, which allows prompt support for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Eastern Ukraine.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Samat Ordabayev emphasized that the opening of the Consulate is an important step toward deepening Kazakh-Ukrainian relations, developing trade and economic cooperation, and protecting the rights of citizens of Kazakhstan.
